FOR THE 2025 SEASON: This restaurant is seasonal and recently reopened for the year. My wife and I came here for dinner and overall enjoyed our meal. We gave the restaurant a bit more grace than usual for a few reasons it had just reopened, and much of the staff appeared to be new. Service: We were seated by a hostess in a section with about 15 tables, only four of which were occupied. There seemed to be three servers assigned to this area. However, after being seated, we weren’t approached by anyone for nearly 10 minutes. Several servers walked past us repeatedly without so much as an acknowledgment not even a “someone will be with you shortly.” It felt like we were invisible. Oddly enough, the restaurant seemed overstaffed, and the servers appeared to be looking for something to do, just not helping us. Fortunately, once a server did come by, things improved significantly from there. Food: Kelp & Artichoke Dip Alaska Salmon Surf & Turf (10oz Sirloin with Shrimp) The food was actually pretty good. I always try to keep a few things in mind while in Seward; that being, we’re in Seward, Alaska, a small town that thrives on seasonal tourism. I’m not expecting a Michelin Star experience, just a solid meal after a day of exploring. With that context, the food met our expectations and we left full and happy.

We have been here twice and it's worth going every time!!! Great service and amazing views from the dining area Day 1 We ordered a salmon crostini and it was crunchy and creamy with a subtle salmon flavor. Must have for appetizers! Then we ordered a roadhouse bowl which was filling and tasty af. Blueberry cobbler as dessert. Out of the world fresh and warm blueberries! Day 2 We got no appetizers this time because we wanted to focus on entrees. Sweet potato gnocchi with mushrooms. Never eaten gnocchi as delicious as this. Perfect option for vegetarians. Also, we ordered pan seared halibut (chef's choice) with polenta and pickled beets. Polenta was cooked perfectly and pickled beets were perfectly sour. Make sure to squeeze enough lemon on the halibut for the best experience. Lastly we ordered goat cheese cheesecake and it was heavenly creamy. The lemon based crust was sprinkled on the cheesecake instead on the bottom. For drinks we ordered the local coffee stout. It has a great coffee flavor and aroma. It's less creamy and light bodied than other stouts but definitely a great pick for stout drinkers.

Enjoyed a giant delicious prime rib! All the fixings were savory. I eat here all the time, and I highly recommend it. Great service from Lance. He suggested dessert, and I obliged with bread pudding. Yum!!!

Oh my! This was the best meal the three of us have had on our trip to Alaska! We are plant-based and occasionally eat seafood. There were lots of good options for us in the menu. The setting is FABULOUS! Service was great.

I went to 3 places prior to this for clam chowder... the last place was so bland and horrible excuse for clam / seafood chowder I had to find another place to eat before I came back to anchorage... this place was still open... wait staff was awsome... I asked about their clam/seafood chowder... she said it was rich and creamy... which at the minimum I demand for a chowder lover... she even brought me a sample before I bought it... YES!!! THIS IS AMAZING CHOWDER.... higher priced than most...BUT WORTH IT BASED ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR COMPETITORS.... I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT MORE IF IT WASNT 15 FOR A BOWL... BUT I DEFINITELY WILL GIVE THEM THEIR 5 STARS... we were immediately seated upon arrival... the wait staff was very friendly and honest... which I admire them for... definitely real alaska at its finest... beautiful veiw for sitting at the outside tables... decided to order the cod and chips... chunks was well portion for the 22 I spent... Regardless of price I WILL EAT THERE AGAIN!!! I WAS VERY IMPRESSED.... the waitress knew I didn't have a bunch of money... didn't treat me any different and even helped guide my 10 year in my reasonable choices... I ensured to give her a tip I didn't have cause she did so great!! I will be back before the end of summer to get this chowder again... and I'm extremely please with the over all of this establishment!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!

My son and I had a great breakfast here and the view was amazing. They have a buffet or you can order off a menu. Very good food, very impressed, we will eat here a few mornings while in Seward.
